What preparations do I need before using zkJump?
You should prepare the tokens that you wish to bridge, the gas token of the source chain in your wallet.
Do I need to create an account before using zkJump?
No, you can use zkJump directly without an account.
What if I do not get my tokens on the destination chain?
In very rare cases, the following might happen. If an error constantly occurs, please contact the zkJump team via email or in our discord channel.
Case 1: token stays on my wallet of the source chain, but the gas fee is deducted from my wallet.
Reason: the transaction is failed but already committed on-chain.
Root cause: blockchain error — it might be network congestion, wrong gas estimate, or transaction conflict.
Solution: initiate the transaction again.
Case 2: token is deducted from my wallet on the source chain, but I didn’t receive the token on the target chain.
Reason: Your transaction has been submitted successfully and is waiting for zkJump to be processed
Root cause: zkJump congestion — It may be that the transaction is blocked or the Witness discovered the transaction anomaly and stopped all transactions.
Solution: There is no risk to your assets, please wait for the Executor to initiate your transaction on the target chain.
